Yes - you can travel from Heraklion (Crete) to Santorini. Ferries run directly from the port of Heraklion to Santorini’s port (Athinios). The crossing takes about 1.5 - 4 hours depending on the vessel (fast high-speed catamarans are the quickest).

The Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis - HER) is located approximately 10 - 15 minutes from the city center and about 20 minutes from the wedding venue (depending on traffic). Taxis, free now & ubers are available outside the arrivals terminal. Ride duration to most central hotels is about 10–20 minutes.
